Soil developed on iron poor sandy shale; white (5Y 8/1, 8/2); few yellowish red (7.5YR 6/6, 6/8); fine sandy clay loam; moderate to strong, coarse angular blocky and prismatic; slight firm to firm; moderately deep to shale saprolite; somewhat imperfectly drained; occurs on rolling to steep terrain; cation exchange capacity of <5 cmol(+)/ kilogram soil; low base saturation; diagnostic argillic horizon.

Occurance

Mainly in the interior part of Terengganu, Pahang and Johor
